Our History
Over 25 years ago, Amanda McKnight had a vision of creating a school that allowed children to thrive and grow at a very young age. As a mother of 4, she understands that finding a school that fits your families needs can be difficult. Amanda strives to create an environment that parents and children love to be a part of and as a result, Sundance has a strong sense of family and community.
Our north Bellevue location opened in May 1994, which offers toddler through preschool classes. Our south downtown Bellevue location opened in May of 2010 offering infant through kindergarten classes. We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of our new infant through early toddler program located adjacent to our north location! To hear what our parents have to say, see our testimonials.

Our Lead Teachers & Administrators
We pride ourselves in finding the best and brightest teachers to be part of our Sundance family. In depth screening is initially conducted of all potential employees and all of our lead teachers have early childhood education backgrounds. Our support staff goes through intensive trainings before assisting our lead teachers and many of our teachers and supporting staff have been part of the Sundance family for years.

Sarah is a long-time employee and has been with Sundance for over 15 years. Her passion for childhood development, learning through creative discovery and providing an environment where the children love to come is her priority.
